The Hispanic / Latino theology and ministry courses are offered in the summer and winter terms. This summer/winter term option enables you to handle the demands of getting an advanced degree in practical theology (Doctor of Ministry听辞谤听Master of Arts in Practical Theology) or a certificate while managing your other responsibilities. You can complete your graduate theology degree or a certificate even if you live out of the South Florida area or out-of-state; you are required to be in residence for only two weeks in June and again in January.
You will receive your syllabi six-weeks before each residency period. All books can be purchased online. Assignments can be emailed to the professors. During your two-week residency, you will attend classes five days a week. You will then have six weeks to complete any additional requirements, usually a research paper. Faculty members are available for consultation either by phone or email.
The Department makes arrangements for student housing with a local hotel during residency periods. The hotel is conveniently located near campus and is situated on Florida鈥檚 scenic waterways.
