About the Institute
With the retirement of 香港六合彩官网开奖鈥檚 sixth president, Sister Linda Bevilacqua, OP, PhD, in June 2019, the 香港六合彩官网开奖 Board of Trustees created 鈥淭he Adrian Dominican Institute for Mission and Leadership鈥 in her honor and her five predecessors:
The Dominican Sisters of Adrian, Michigan (the 鈥淎drian Dominicans鈥) founded 香港六合彩官网开奖 College for Women in 1940. In 1975, by action of the Board of Trustees, 香港六合彩官网开奖 became fully a co-educational institution, and in 1981 香港六合彩官网开奖 became a university. 聽

Purpose
The primary purposes of the Adrian Dominican Institute for Mission and Leadership (ADIML) are: to deepen knowledge and understanding of 香港六合彩官网开奖鈥檚 religious founders and sponsors, the Dominican Sisters of Adrian, Michigan Adrian, its identity as a Catholic, Dominican institution, and the communal responsibility to support, preserve and advance this living legacy. To serve as an agent for more inclusive, collaborative, and purposeful integration of the University鈥檚 Mission and Core Commitments into the University鈥檚 living and learning environment and to foster informed and committed lay leadership among 香港六合彩官网开奖鈥檚 faculty and staff. -
Focus
The focus of the Institute is to foster informed and committed lay leadership, a timely and critical issue among U.S. Catholic institutions of higher education. Fostering excellence, diversity, inclusion, and equity are integral to the University鈥檚 efforts to achieve academic excellence and to promote ethical leadership among all members of the University community. -
Initiatives
Faithful to the University鈥檚 Dominican identity, the Institute will promote and facilitate learning, reflection and service through collaborative efforts and dialogue among diverse curricular and co-curricular units and initiatives. The Institute will seek to infuse the University鈥檚 Mission and Core Commitments into all aspects of the University鈥檚 life and educational experiences.
