Biography

Glenn A. Bowen, Ph.D., is Director of 香港六合彩官网开奖鈥檚 Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) and holds the faculty rank of Associate Professor. He previously served as Executive Director of 香港六合彩官网开奖鈥檚 Center for Community Service Initiatives (CCSI), providing strategic leadership for community engagement, encompassing student civic learning, engaged faculty development, and university鈥揷ommunity partnerships. Under his leadership, 香港六合彩官网开奖 attained the prestigious Carnegie Community Engagement Classification and received national, state-level, and local recognition for achievements in civic engagement. Dr. Bowen has published several book chapters and dozens of peer-reviewed journal articles based on his service-learning and community engagement research. In addition, he has made presentations at conferences not only in North America but also in Asia, Australia, and Europe. He is a former Co-editor of the International Journal of Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement and served for two terms on the Board of Directors of the International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE). Named 鈥渙ne of South Florida鈥檚 Top Black Educators鈥� by Legacy (magazine) in 2013 and 2017, Dr. Bowen was the winner of Florida Campus Compact鈥檚 Engaged Scholarship/Research Award in 2018.
