Scholarships and Grants Merit-based Scholarships

When you apply to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½±, you are automatically considered for one of these 5 scholarships based on academic merit – no special forms are required. Upon acceptance, the Admissions office will let you know how much you’re qualified to receive. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± scholarships are awarded annually to talented incoming freshmen and transfer students based on scholastic achievement, and are applied to tuition. Scholarships may be renewable providing the student maintains satisfactory academic progress and a minimum GPA of 2.0.

  • Presidential Scholarship - Annual, renewable scholarship up to $20,000
  • Trustee Award – Annual, renewable award up to $18,000
  • Dean’s Award - Annual, renewable award up to $16,000
  • Red, Black, and Silver - Annual, renewable award up to $14,000
  • Achievement Award - Annual, renewable award up to $10,000

Note: Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students enrolled in our traditional non-discounted programs; our Adult Learner Undergraduate programs do not qualify.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± Honors Scholarship

Annual, renewable scholarship of $5,000 for up to four years. Recipients will be invited to participate in the Honors Program.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± Bright Futures

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± Bright Futures Award is a merit-based grant offered to recipients of the Florida Academic Scholarship/Florida Medallion Scholarship, part of the state-wide Bright Futures Scholarship Program. It bridges the gap between these state-funded awards and the cost of your Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± education with a financial aid package that covers 100% of tuition.

Gregory F. and Donna Greene Scholarship for Education Honoring Sister Linda Bevilacqua, Op, Phd.

Annual renewable scholarship of $15,625 awarded annually to two students who enroll full time in the Adrian Dominican School of Education Bachelor of Science in Education. Must have graduated from a public high school in Miami-Dade or Broward Counties and provide documentation of having completed a minimum of 75 service hours during high school. Minimum requirements: 3.0 GPA or higher; SAT 1170 and/or ACT 26.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± Engaged STEM Scholars

A National Science Founded-funded scholarship program for low income, academically talented students pursuing STEM majors of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Computer Information Sciences. Available to students from select Miami-Dade County Public High Schools. Award amounts range from an estimated $6000 - $8000 annually for up to four years.

RaiseMe Micro-Scholarships

°Õ³ó°ù´Ç³Ü²µ³óÌý, eligible high school students can earn micro-scholarships for good grades and a good GPA, community involvement and leadership roles. Students with a minimum GPA of 3.5 can start earning micro-scholarships as early as their freshman year of high school.

Transfer Scholarships

Students who transfer to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± are automatically considered for an award based on academic merit – no special forms are required. Upon acceptance, the Admissions office will let you know how much you’re qualified to receive. Awards are renewable, up to $12,000 annually.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Annual, renewable scholarship of $2,000 for community college transfer students involved in Phi Theta Kappa. Contact the Office of Admissions for additional information.
