Dearest God, Yahweh, Allah, Ahura Mazda, Brahman, Great Spirit, you for whom we have so many names but are infinitely greater than all of them, we open ourselves to you. We, your children, all of whom carry the spark of your divinity within us, ask you to:
- IGNITE US聽with immeasurable love that overflows and embraces everyone, even the despicable and dirty, just as you do;
- IGNITE US with enduring tenderness that bends us low and close to listen and comfort even the saddest and most desperate, just as you do;
- IGNITE US with nourishment that whispers 鈥済row, grow鈥 to even the tiniest, most thirsty blade of grass, just as you do;
- IGNITE US with wisdom that sees your signposts on the road ahead and leads the hand of even the most doubtful, just as you do;
- IGNITE US with forgiveness to fill the cracks of resentment, hate, and vengeance with the gold of mercy, just as you do.
Dearest God, Yahweh, Allah, Ahura Mazda, Brahman, Great Spirit, ignite the flame of divinity within us with whatever we need to carry your light into a dark, desperate, disparaged waiting world.
