The clinical research field is growing and individuals with a graduate certificate in Clinical Research are qualified to obtain a position as a Clinical Research Assistant or Associate. You may also be able to apply the courses in the certificate toward your MPH degree or the MS degree in Clinical Epidemiology.

The program is jointly offered by the College of Public Health, College of Architecture and Environmental Design, and College of Nursing.  This allows for an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the requirements and principles involved in making sure healthcare facilities are designed and maintained with the needs of patients and healthcare workers in mind.

The Addictions Counseling Certificate Program (ACCP) provides students at the graduate level who are enrolled in the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with the educational content necessary to apply for chemical dependency counselor licensure in Ohio issued by .

The certificate is available as a standalone credential or can be seamlessly integrated into the Master of Public Health concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences. The certificate is offered through a collaboration with the Counselor Education and Supervision program in the College of Education, Health and Human Services and can be completed in person at the Kent Campus.
