Student Training
Want to work for TeleProductions?
Before starting with TeleProductions, we ask all potential student employees to attend an afternoon training session. At these training sessions, you will have the opportunity to learn more about what we do and how you can get involved. After attending the training and going through the hiring process, you will be able to begin working our crew and work on our FlashVision, ESPN+, educational, and marketing productions, as well as webstreaming opportunities.
Our Students Gain Professional Experience

Producing an ESPN+ livestream broadcast of the Kent State Men鈥檚 Basketball team鈥檚 victory over the Eastern Michigan Eagles entirely by digital media production undergraduates in the School of Media and Journalism, could have been a chaotic, high-profile evening, but instead it was business as usual.
Austin Monte, a senior digital media production major, has been working at TeleProductions for four years. He directed that night鈥檚 game and was responsible for the visuals. 鈥淚t is the perfect environment to learn because you can make mistakes and it's not the end of the world,鈥 Monte said. 鈥淭eleProductions has really honed my skills and I feel prepared to continue doing this when I graduate.鈥
Kyle O鈥橪eary, a senior digital media production major, produced the game and was responsible for crafting the storyline and working with announcers and the director. In his past four years at TeleProductions, O鈥橪eary has learned how to adapt to the busy nature of a professional sports scene.
Lillian Glaze, a first-year digital media production major, is marking a major milestone for her inaugural year at Kent State. She created a seamless presentation for viewers and operated the video switcher.
